New Jersey State Police (NJSP)-Operation Rise- Presenter, Mrs. Michele Perez to conduct the Parent workshop called "Hidden in Plain Sight" . This assembly is intended for parents only, no students shall be permitted. This psychoeducational workshop (secondary prevention) aims to provide knowledge of behaviors that could manifest into short/long term effects of substance use, misuse, and/or abuse. The assembly will provide a visual scene that will display places and objects that youth today may hide illegal substances. The intent is to help the parent(s), guardian(s), relative(s), friend(s) of the student by increasing awareness about life situations that may impact the student(s). And to help adults identify and develop strategies that reduce destructive habits and negative behaviors in youth today. This presentation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday April 23, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm, in the Paulsboro High School auditorium.

Mission Statement: The ultimate measure of any educational institution is reflected in the accomplishments of our graduates. They bring honor to the institution through their public lives and professional achievements. Paulsboro High School has had the honor and privilege to educate some of the most distinguished and most accomplished people in industry, government and the military. We established a Hall of Distinguished Alumni to pay tribute to those who have gone on to distinguish themselves in their dedicated field and as a humanitarian. Each year, we have the honor of inducting highly distinguished alumni and/or non-alumni who unselfishly contributed to PHS into our Hall to recognize their stellar careers and achievements.
