GREAT EXPECTATIONS

BY

CHARLES DICKENS

Welcome to Victorian England.  We are joining Charles Dickens in London in the Nineteenth Century.  What is life like? Well there is no indoor plumbing and you would most likely be working a 12 to 16 hour shift for a minimal amount of money.

You will investigate your topic, write a 2-3-page report, and give a 2-3 minute speech supported by a visual so that your classmates will learn from what you have learned about the time in which Charles Dickens lived.

There will be a cart in the library with books on the topics. Below you will find some web sites to search first.  You are required to have a bibliography that includes two book sources and two Internet sources. A list of the topics and the paper requirements is on the second page of this website.
